Hi, I'm Chris.
I built Vitao alone — with AI tools as my pair-programmer most days. That's the whole team. It's also why Vitao costs $9 once, and not $24.95 every month.
No investors. No growth team. No reason to invent a “Pro” tier or email you “your discount expires in 2 hours.” Just one person who got tired of watching resume builders treat job seekers like a recurring revenue stream.
This page exists so you know exactly who you're buying from, and why it's priced the way it is.
What Vitao stands for
- Your resume should pass ATS the first time. Every template is laid out so the parsers actually read it — no decorative columns, no images masquerading as text.
- You should pay once, not forever. $9 unlocks the export. No trials, no auto-renewal, no “premium templates” held back behind a higher tier.
- Your data is yours. Vitao doesn't sell it, doesn't show ads against it, and deletes it when you ask.
Why $9?
Here's roughly where your $9 goes:
- Payment processing (Stripe + bank fees)
- ~$0.55
- Servers, storage, email
- ~$0.20
- VAT (where applicable)
- ~$1.50
- The maker (rent, taxes, more coffee)
- the rest
There's no growth team to feed, no SaaS investors to return capital to, no marketing budget. That's the deal — and that's how the price stays where it is.
How it gets built
Building a resume builder used to take a small team a year. Today, a careful solo operator with modern AI tools can ship something comparable in months — and maintain it without burning out.
That's not a story about AI replacing people. It's about why a $9 price tag is still possible in a category dominated by $25-a-month subscriptions: the operating cost is genuinely lower, and I'm passing that along instead of pocketing it as margin.
Who's behind it
Vitao is operated by TYPE10 Media GmbH, a one-person company registered in Munich, Germany. I'm Chris — founder, only employee, and the person who answers when you email support.
